Martin Luther Church’s Holy Week and Easter 2017

We will celebrate Holy Week and the days of Easter as a high point in the liturgical year. To help you plan your time accordingly, here are all the service dates at a glance. Each one special.

Palm Sunday, April 9, 2017:
9:45 am English Service
11:00 am German Service with the Harfentöne choir and Concert

Wednesday, April 12, 2017:
12:00 pm German Lenten Service followed by soup luncheon
7:00 pm English Lenten Service with other Mimico protestant churchs

Maundy Thursday, April 13, 2017:
6:00 pm German Service
7:00 pm English Last Supper Service followed by a shared meal beneath the cross
Both with Holy Communion

Good Friday, April 14, 2017:
9:45 am English Service
11:00 am German Service
Both with Holy Communion and Church Choir

Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017:
6:00 am Easter Sunrise Service at Humber Bay Park West, 2225 Lake Shore Boulevard West, Toronto
Followed by Easter breakfast at the church
10:00 am One Joint Easter Service with Holy Communion, Church Choir and Sunday School

Dan Sommerfeld is coordinating set up for the Easter breakfast so that a splendid breakfast can be served for the 14th time in a row by the men of the congregation. Food contributions are always welcome. Please contact Dan at 905-274-6602. Thank you to all our volunteers.
