Absolutely! We encourage you to schedule a tour of our facilities. Our rental coordinator will guide you through the available spaces and discuss how they can best accommodate you.<\/p>\n

WHAT AMENITIES ARE INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL SPACE?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basic amenities, including tables, chairs, and access to washrooms, a TV, WiFi, AV equipment. Please inquire about specific amenities when booking.<\/p>\n

ARE THE SPACES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes! We have a barrier-free environment for events to accommodate persons with disabilities. We have an elevator in the foyer and an accessibity ramp to the backyard from the basement. The basement level restrooms are accessible by stairs and elevator and include a barrier-free washroom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church is located at 2379 Lakeshore Blvd West, in the South Etobicoke\/Mimico area of west Toronto, and a stone\u2019s throw to the Lake Ontario shoreline. There are 4 parking spots at the back behind our 5 Superior Ave building. We are easily accessible by TTC and there are multiple Green P parking options nearby.<\/p>\n

\nDo I need to sign anything to rent the space?<\/strong>
\nYes, you will be required to sign a rental agreement and make a 50% deposit upon signing.<\/p>\n

Are personal belongings and other items secure inside the rented foyer?<\/strong>
\nThe foyer doors remain unlocked during the time of rental. We recommend that someone from your event remain in the foyer at all times during your rental period. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.<\/p>\n

Who can I contact for help on the day(s) I rent the space?<\/strong>
\nWe will provide contact names and numbers in the rental agreement.<\/p>\n

Can I come in the night before my rental to set up?<\/strong>
\nAccess to the space is granted during the rental time only. Please take set up time into account when making your booking.<\/p>\n

Are church staff\/volunteers available to help me bring items in from my vehicle?<\/strong>
\nThe foyer rental is for the space and amenities only. We do not provide church staff\/volunteers to assist with set up.<\/p>\n

Where can I put up my decorations?<\/strong>
\nDecorations can be put up on walls and cabinet fronts with easily removable adhesive or painter\u2019s tape. Affixing signs or decorations to windows, light fixtures, fire sprinklers, ceiling is not permitted.<\/p>\n

Food and Catering
\n<\/strong>The foyer kitchennette and the basement kitchens is equipped to serve and cater food. Please be respectful and remove any excess garbage and cardboard at the end of your rental with you. If you require additional garbage or cardboard removal, please inform us upon booking. There is direct access by vehicle to the front entrance doors. Catering vehicles must park in a designated parking spot. Carts to move items to and from the foyer are not available. We do have carts and trolleys for our own tables and chairs. Items must be carried up the stairs or use the elevator. Note the kitchenette does not have an oven, only a 2-burner stovetop.<\/p>\n

All leftover food must be removed or disposed of at the end of the rental. Failure to leave a clean site after your rental will result in additional charges.<\/p>\n
