The service will be led by our Pastor Annika Klappert and involve Re v. Katherine Gohm\, Assistant to the Bishop in the Eastern Synod of the Ev angelical Lutheran Church of Canada\, sa well as our lay preachers\, churc h members and guests. Serving the German-speaking Lutherans across the GTA and the South Etobicoke community since 1955\, our mission is to be "Luth erans by the Lake celebrating faith\, serving and inspiring people". We’ ll be celebrating this milestone under the banner 70 Years of Living Stone s by the Lake. As living stones (1 Peter 2:5)\, we bring our church buildi ng to life with traditions\, relationships and creativity.\n\nThere will b e remarks and acknowledgements in our worship space after the service.\n\n We will continue the celebration with light refreshments and welcome every one to our annual Christmas Market Fundraiser and Open House from 1:00 - 4 :00 pm. This will include:\n\n A self-guided tour to explore church miles tones (including Confirmation photos)\, building features and programs off ered in the space.\n Stations to take photos\, decorate anniversary garde n stones\, share favourite Martin Luther Church memories\, sign up for upc oming activities like our Christmas Play\n A Christmas Bazaar and Market Fundraiser for the church\, showcasing hand-made crafts\, home baking\, ja ms\, and much more for sale.
