Both services with Church Choir led by Linda Marcinkus\, our organist.\ n\nAs the year draws to a close and the holiday season approaches\, please take a moment to reflect on all that we have achieved together. Martin Lu ther Evangelical Lutheran Church is so much more than a house of worship. Thanks to your generous contributions of time and money\, it’s also a vi brant local community hub with caring outreach programs.\n\nWe all look fo rward to our Sunday services\, the beautiful music\, inspiring sermons\, a nd the meaningful conversations before and after each service\, or at Bibl e Study. During the week\, our building is a lively home for many communit y groups including the Martin Luther Child Care which runs programs for to ddlers\, pre-school and school-aged children (Monday to Friday)\,  and th e Wesley Mimico United Church food bank program for whom we provide space to prep their deliveries.\n\nOur outreach programs Dinner Church (once a m onth mid-week)\, Bowls and Blessings outdoor food ministry (Tuesdays and F ridays at noon)\, 24/7 Community Food Pantry and Little Library\, and Rais ed Bed Gardens in front of 5 Superior Ave (now put to bed for Winter) make a significant difference to those in need. None of these accomplishments would be possible without the dedication and hard work of our wonderful st aff\, volunteers\, and your ongoing financial donations.\n\nA Note from ou r Treasurer\nWe ask you to continue to give generously. As a registered ch arity\, we will be providing you with a contribution receipt early next ye ar.\n\nWe are deeply grateful to those who have already stepped up to supp ort our work on the remediation from flood damage on July 16\, 2024.\n\nWe invite anyone who is able to make an additional monthly donation via PAR direct debit or a one-time check or Paypal donation -- each of which is ta x deductible -- to us.
