Refugee Sponsorship

More than 60 people from various backgrounds, private sponsors and members of at least a dozen churches attended the refugee seminar on Saturday the 24th of October 2015 at the Martin Luther Church. Knowledgeable guest speakers representing four different help organisations provided an outline of how individuals and groups are able to help refugees all over the world. The personal testimony from the Syrian Canadian sponsor weighed the pros and cons of the immigration process to Canada. The humorous presentation by one of the organizers of the First Syrian Film festival rounded up the inspiring seminar.
