German Choir at St. George’s Church Toronto – Musical Service, Concert, Sun., July 13, 11 a.m.
On Sunday July 13, 2025, members of MLC attended St. George’s Lutheran Church for a bilingual musical worship service, followed by a concert featuring members of the German choir “Junges Vokalensemble Hannover e.V.” The choir gave a powerful performance, singing songs originating from Germany, Lithuania, Canada, the US, and Australia. Attendees then gathered in the basement for a potluck lunch. As a last-minute surprise, the choir gave an encore performance of a fun and lively French drinking song. A big thank you goes out to St. George’s Church for hosting and providing lunch, and to both the choir and conductor Prof. Klaus-Jurgen Etzold for an amazing musical experience!
