Thanksgiving 2026 Worship Services and Food Drive
Recap: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we thank Tanya and Katja for volunteering to plan and lead (and preach at) the German Thanksgiving services on Sunday October 4, 2026! We also thank the many helping hands who made the day special – our intern Nina for planning a Thanksgiving “Schnitzeljagd” (scavenger hunt), our ushers, our organist Linda, our church choir, Annette R. for decorating the altar, Peter for recording, those who prepared coffee and cake to share in the basement.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we thank Pastor Annika for leading our bilingual service on Sunday October 11, 2026 (Canadian Thanksgiving)! Everyone who attended was given a special treat – either a butter tart or a madeleine – as a token of gratitude. We are also thankful for those who prepared coffee and cake to share in our foyer for fellowship after the service!
Thank you to all who donated to our Thanksgiving food drive this year. Even though our seasonal drive has ended, we will always gratefully accept donations to support our food ministry.
