Our thoughts are with our Muslim neighbours

News of the terrible attack on a mosque in Quebec City sadden us deeply. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, as well as with our Muslim neighbours. For many years we have been working together with all faith groups in Mimico and meet regularly in order to learn from each other and to foster our coexistence in the neighbourhood.

We stand for peaceful cooperation and see our fellow human beings above all as brothers and sisters God created.

Let us pray together for the victims of the attack and all those affected and for peace in our neighbourhoods.
