About the Bazaar

2022 Spring Bazaar Volunteers Needed PosterThe Martin Luther Church Bazaar is run by volunteers who love to create for a cause. In the past, the Bazaar has been a 1-day event hosted in person at the Martin Luther Church Toronto in the beginning of December. This event offers the congregation and members of the neighbourhood community a chance to socialize. Historically, the proceeds have gone to such initiatives as the church’s refugee sponsorship program (13 people have received assistance in coming to Canada) and our sister organization, the Martin Luther Child Care. But in these unprecedented times, the church added serves to the community through outreach such as our soup distribution and community pantry. We started the online bazaar because of the pandemic, but we received some terrific feedback about how much people enjoyed the online shopping experience, so we are running it online again this spring 2022, keeping the spirit of the Bazaar alive virtually!
