Martin Luther Church Picnic and Camp Lutherlyn Fundraiser on June 17 at Camp Sidrabene, Burlington

Last updated on June 21st, 2018

2017 Church PicnicSurely you have already marked the church picnic and Camp Lutherlyn Fundraiser on June 17th on your calendar?

We invite you to join us at our annual church open-air service and picnic at Camp Sidrabene Retreat Centre, beginning at 11:00 am. The service is about John the Baptist. Following the service, the camp team and families are preparing a BBQ lunch with deluxe sausages, delicious salads and cold drinks.

Funds raised help fund our camp counsellors attendance at Camp Lutherlyn. These youthful, enthusiastic and energetic counsellors are the key to the fun-filled program we provide at camp. We couldn’t do it without the time and work they spend preparing and running all the programs offered at Camp Lutherlyn.

2017 Church PicnicWe suggest a minimum donation of $5/person for your lunch, and remember, all funds raised at the picnic go directly towards Camp Lutherlyn, so if you enjoyed lunch then please be generous! We are looking forward to a day filled with worship, delicious food, fun and games. On the premises there is a swimming pool and plenty of room for games.

At the same time, the first World Cup match of the Germany soccer team will start against Mexico. But do not worry, we will keep you up-to-date with the score during the first half. The second half will be live streamed.

By the way, the church picnic is a great opportunity to invite friends to meet our congregation! Enjoy meeting and mingling with fellow church members and summer campers.

If you need a ride or can offer one, please contact the church office: churchoffice@martinluther.ca Tel: 416-251-8293
