Here are the church teams you can help out with:
Church Council or ushering on Sundays. The 5th Sunday of Easter, May 15, 2022 is our Annual General Meeting. We are seeking new church council members. Please contact president Iris for more information, if you’re interested in joining or would like to nominate someone. Contact president@martintluther.ca

2022 Easter Service -56 Linda Marcinkus pianoChurch Choir: Do you enjoy singing? On Pentecost Sunday June 5, 2022 the church choir will be performing. Practices are on Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Contact Linda Marcinkus our church organist and choir director.

Coffee Hour: After Sunday worship services everyone can again gather in the church basement to enjoy coffee, cake and chatting. Volunteers are asked to lay out sweets, serve coffee and clean up afterwards, etc. Also, flowers for the altar brought in would be appreciated by the Altar Guild. Contact office@martinluther.ca

2022 MLC Tech Team camera Mar24Tech Team: From the start of the pandemic, videos of our services are filmed and edited to be uploaded on our YouTube channel, Martin Luther Church Toronto. To keep doing so, videographers are asked to come in on Sundays, film and send the files to that week’s editor. Those who are comfortable with video editing are even welcome to edit themselves! Refugee Support Team: Are you a people person? Would you like to become even more engaged in our community? Do you care about helping others less fortunate than ourselves? Are you interested in helping the Canadian Lutheran World Relief-approved refugees come to and settle in Canada? If so, then please consider joining our Refugee Support Team. Contact refugeesupport@martinluther.ca

Learn about the plight of refugees around the world. Assist with applications, arrival and settlement as you are able. Meet with other committed team members a few times a year as the need arises. Make a difference in fulfilling and friendly ways! You will be supported by the helpful staff of Canadian Lutheran World Relief ( https://www.clwr.org/ ) by phone and Internet. You can develop refugee sponsorship and networking skills through free participation in workshops provided by Ontario Private Refugee Sponsor Network ( https://refugeesponsornet.ca/ ) and others.
