Meet Pastor Nkanyiso Kingdom

Update: Pastor Nkanyiso led his FIRST WORSHIP SERVICE with us this past Sunday September 22. 2024… and will continue these once a month. Come by to catch his thoughtful sermons.
Pastor Nkanyiso Kingdom Maphumulo is covering for Pastor Annika Klappert’s maternity leave for one year on a part-time basis. Get to know Pastor Nkanyiso and contact him for pastoral care at 416-723-7349, pastorkingdom@martinluther.ca.
His office hours are usually Fridays, 10 am to 2 pm. Meet up with him at our outdoor food ministry “Bowls and Blessings” in front of the church doors Fridays at 12:00 noon.
He will be introducing himself further at Dinner Church this Wednesday September 25, 2024 at 7:00 pm. Potluck, come join in!
He will be leading our confirmation class this year for confirmation on Pentecost June 8, 2025. For 12 to 15 year.olds ready to learn about faith and congregational life.
Pastor Nkanyiso is from South Africa, the Diocese of Zululand, a diocese of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, and educated at the University of KwaZulu Natal. He is currently residing here in Canada and working on his PhD at the University of Toronto, Trinity College (Doctor of Philosophy in theological studies). Pastor Nkanyiso is splitting his time between us and his other part-time position at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church/New Toronto located down the road.
