Altar Art by Michelle Reid – will be revealed this Sunday Dec 1st

In addition to the Advent wreath hoisted in time for December 1st, there will be something new above the altar to celebrate the 69th anniversary of our church on the first Sunday of Advent.

On Tuesday November 26, 2024 artist Michelle Reid delivered three large canvases from her studio in Kingston, Ontario. This altar art was commissioned for our Martin Luther Evangleical Lutheran Church last year. Come see it for the first time this Sunday.

Many thanks to our altar art committee, especially Leanne Grammenz for installing the pieces with her husband Stefan. This project was made possible by a generous donation by the late Reiner Mauke in 2018 in memory of his wife Christine.
