We cordially invite you to a New–in-Canada information session on Friday September 8, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm in Martin Luther Church.
Experts will give tips and insights in living and working in Canada:
How does the tax work in Canada?
Where can I shop?
Where do I get a Canadian Drivers License?
Where can I find German churches?
Which school is best for my children?
Why do I need a Family Doctor?
What do I have to do with a traffic ticket?
Which awkward situations are there?
During a small snack you will have the opportunity to talk to the presenters. Children are welcome and there will be a play corner for them.
The experts include a representative from the German Consulate Toronto, the principle of the German Language School in Toronto (GIST), the language advisor for German schools in Canada, Dr. John Rosati (emergency physician), Iris Schweiger and Pastor Christian Ceconi (both of Martin Luther Church)
Please send us a short message to the church office churchoffice@martinluther.ca, or sign-up with The German Meetup Group www.meetup.com/gtagerman , if you plan to attend. This will help us with the preparation.
