Wed Apr 24, 2024, 7 pm Dinner Church with guest speaker Katja Brittain on topic of acts of kindness and gratitude
Volunteer helpers are welcome for setting up and taking down tables and chairs, putting place settings on tables, and bringing food.
Dinner Church involves a simple potluck meal with a short devotion based on the community meals of the early Christians. Held once a month – midweek – at 7:00 pm as an outreach program.
This year’s Dinner Church by the Lake 2024 scheduled so far are:
Wednesday January 31, 2024 at 7pm
Maundy Thursday March 28, 2024 at 7pm with a performance by Church Choir
Wednesday April 24, 2024 at 7pm with Katja Brittain
Sometimes we have guest speakers from the community, if available. Otherwise our pastor or laypreachers hold a short devotion. The Dinner Church planning team dinnerchurch@martinluther.ca is available for suggestions .
